OUR FIRST FLUXIVERSARY

Milestones and connections are big in my world. Last week was Flux's first birthday, and there absolutely had to be a party with decent goodie bags. 🛍️

Flux came into being at the request of a couple of long-standing clients, and just over a year ago I incorporated the company and signed its first active contract.

It was the 10th of October, 2023. There was a launch party two weeks later on the 24th my favourite amazing wine bar, Vini Divini in Wynyard, owned by Philippe Gilbert.

Now, for the first “Fluxiversary” I wanted to acknowledge our first year in business, and share my thanks with a whole host of kindred spirits - people who like both transformation and wine -  who have played big part in our first year (and before).

Invited were a whole bunch of my oldest, dearest friends and clients. Team Optus was there. So too Suncorp, iCare, CBA, Qantas, QBE and many more. Australian Unity was there in spirit (Melbourne event next!).

Being an alumni, I continue to collaborate with Deloitte who joined in the fun.

I was so delighted my mentors, partners and the whole Flux team came too. Special mention to Mark, who came in from Melbourne, and especially Anni, who flew in from on the day from Norway! That’s true commitment. ❤️

These friends know I like to mix things up, and also invited were a number of people I’ve met through the entrepreneurs’ network, the CUB Club of United Business.

I joined CUB wanting to learn how entrepreneurs scale their businesses and also identify different collaborations to solve problems for Flux’s Jumpstart clients. The club has been amazing - 650 inspirational leaders, founders, futurists and visionaries in one place!

For the party, a real focus for me was to make sure every attendee made a connection of value and leave the party having met someone new, with whom they could potentially forge a new relationship.

I was really happy with the outcome and to see everyone in one room. And it was great to give Jumpstart a warm up on the big screen – that comes next….
